A useful tool to help with the process of covering snap buttons with leather. Made from 3Cr13 stainless steel it offers a sturdy approach to solving the problem of how to actually place the leather over the face of a snap button.
The two-piece design allows you to mark and cut the relevant sized leather for the button size before using the secondary piece to help fold the leather in place.
We recommended using leather between 0.3 and 0.5mm, along with a sharp knife such as our pattern knife and awl , along with this many find it useful to use a small cut out of 0.3mm salpa to add extra support to the rear of the snap.
